LAUREL, MD – Lee Christian’s Fanniebellefleming, cut back to sprinting off a disappointing effort at a mile last out, edged clear of favorite Kapalua Starlight in mid-stretch and pulled away to a 2 ¼-length victory in Saturday’s $50,000 Donna Freyer Stakes at Laurel Park.

LAUREL, MD – In addition to a program of nine live races, Laurel Park will host the sixth annual Brew & Bourbon Classic Saturday, Nov. 18.
 
More than 60 different beers and bourbons will be available for tasting from noon to 5 p.m., accompanied by DJ music and various food offerings. The event is limited to adults 21 and older.
