2017 SEASON: spread his horses around the Mid-Atlantic circuit, finishing with two wins from 35 starters in Maryland … finished with his lowest win total since 1996 and had his streak of consecutive years with at least $1 million in purses snapped at 17 … Name Changer finished fourth in the Pimlico Special (G3).

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: saddled 12 winners in Maryland from 58 starters in 2016, a 21 percent success rate…captured the Federico Tesio with Awesome Speed and earned automatic entry to the Preakness (G1), where he finished ninth…also won the Richard W.
