The daughter of Mo Town is prominent in a field of seven 3-year-old fillies entered Sunday in the six-furlong sprint, one of five supporting stakes to the $300,000 George E. Mitchell Black-Eyed Susan on Friday’s card.

Sunrise at Old Hilltop Once Again Part of Preakness Week Festivities

LAUREL, MD – Following its successful return to the lineup of Preakness Stakes (G1) festivities last year, Sunrise at Old Hilltop will once again offer fans a unique behind the scenes walking tour of historic Pimlico Race Course.

One of the most popular events leading up to the Preakness, Middle Jewel of the Triple Crown, Sunrise at Old Hilltop was suspended in 2020 and 2021 amid the coronavirus pandemic. The 148th Preakness will be contested Saturday, May 20.

LAUREL, MD – Post positions and odds will be assigned for the 148 th running of the

Preakness Stakes (G1) Monday, May 15 at Guinness Open Gate Brewery at 5:30 p.m.

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery is located at 5001 Washington Blvd.

Video: National Treasure First to Arrive for Preakness 148

LAUREL, MD – National Treasure, third in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) in November and fourth in the Santa Anita Derby (G1) April 8, arrived at Pimlico Race Course Saturday evening to prepare for the Preakness Stakes (G1), to be run Saturday May 20.

National Treasure, one of possibly nine Preakness starters, is owned by SF Racing LLC, Starlight Racing, Madaket Stables LLC, Robert E. Masterson, Stonestreet Stables LLC, Jay A. Schoenfarber, Waves Edge Capital LLC and Catherine Donovan.

LAUREL, MD – Twin Creeks Racing Stable’s Law Professor breezed a half-mile Saturday at Belmont Park ahead of his next scheduled start in the historic $250,000 Pimlico Special (G3) May 19 at Pimlico Race Course.

With regular exercise rider Jesse Sauder up, the multiple stakes-winning homebred went four furlongs over a fast main track in an easy 50.88 seconds. It was his fifth work following a 4 ¼-length victory in the April 1 Excelsior over a muddy track at Aqueduct.
