LAUREL, MD – Due to extreme winter weather conditions, Laurel Park will cancel live races through Saturday.
 
Laurel will remain open for simulcasting wagering throughout the week. Laurel will also show a full card from Maronas in Latin America Saturday.

LAUREL, MD – A continuation of extreme cold temperatures in the Mid-Atlantic region has caused the Maryland Jockey Club to cancel live racing for Friday, Jan. 5.
 
Forecasts call for a high of 19 degrees on Friday with lows in the single digits and winds gusting to 19 mph.

LAUREL, MD – The Maryland Jockey Club has canceled live racing for Monday, Jan. 1 due to extreme cold temperatures in the Mid-Atlantic region.
 
Laurel will be open for simulcast wagering Monday beginning at 11 a.m.
 
Laurel’s 2018 winter schedule is expected to begin Friday at 12:30 p.m.

Laurel is scheduled to open its 2018 winter-spring meet with a nine-race program Monday, Jan. 1. First race post time is 12:30 p.m.
 

Laurel Cancels Final Three Races Saturday Due to Weather

LAUREL, MD – Deteriorating winter weather conditions forced the cancellation of the final three races on Saturday’s Christmastide Stakes Day program Saturday at Laurel Park.
 
Management made the decision to cancel prior to the eighth race, the $100,000 Thirty Eight Go Go, the fifth of six scheduled stakes races worth $550,000 in purses.
