Laurel Cancels Sunday Program

Special Nine-Race Program Monday

LAUREL, MD – Due to a winter storm in the Mid-Atlantic region, Laurel Park has cancelled Sunday’s nine-race program.

Live Racing returns Monday when Laurel will run a special Presidents Day holiday program with a 12:25 p.m. first race post time.

The MJC’s off-track betting sites will remain open for simulcasting.

Storm Postpones $900,000 Winter Sprintfest Program

Entire Nine-Race Card Rescheduled for Saturday. Feb. 20

LAUREL, MD – Due to a winter storm affecting the Mid-Atlantic region, Saturday’s Winter Sprintfest program featuring the $250,000 Runhappy Barbara Fritchie (G3) and $250,000 General George (G3) has been postponed to Saturday, Feb. 20.

Lots of Winners in Stronach 5

Returns $511.70

LAUREL, MD – Even with only one winner returning more than $5.40, the 354 winning tickets on Friday’s Stronach 5 were each worth $511.70.

The popular Stronach 5 featured races from Laurel Park, Gulfstream Park, Santa Anita Park and Golden Gate Fields as well as an industry-low 12-percent takeout.
