LAUREL, MD – Glen Hill Farm’s Caribou Club rallied from off the pace to capture Saturday’s $200,000 Baltimore/Washington International Turf Cup (G3) at Laurel Park in record time.

The Baltimore/Washington International Turf Cup, a mile turf stakes for 3-year-olds and up, was one of eight stakes worth $1.3 million in purses on the September to Remember program that featured the $300,000 Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash (G3).

LAUREL, MD – There will be a $107,353.23 carryover in the Friday, Sept. 27 Stronach 5 after there were no winning tickets in Friday’s Stronach 5.

There were plenty of longshots in Friday’s Stronach 5. The sequence kicked off with a $27.40 winner in Laurel Park’s eighth race with Laddie Liam. It concluded with the 30-1 longshot Seeking The Truth winning Gulfstream’s ninth race and returning $67.40.

The Stronach 5 has an industry-low 12-percent takeout.
