LAUREL, MD – Bettors with all five winners in Friday’s Stronach 5 were rewarded with $1,161.10.
 
There were 74 winners in the Stronach 5 and $97,003 bet into the second edition of the national Pick 5 with an industry-low 12-percent takeout. The third and fourth legs of the Stronach 5 – the ninth and 10th races from Laurel – were taken off the turf and run on the main track after heavy rain fell Thursday evening in the Baltimore-Washington area.
