LAUREL, MD. 10-19-13---Sylvia E. Heft’s Eighttofasttocatch led from start to finish and won the $150,000 Maryland Million Classic for the second time in the past three years. Last year the son of Not For Love finished a fifth in the Classic as the betting favorite but this year things were completely different.
LAUREL, MD. 10-19-13---Richard F. Blue’s Tooth and Claw was the last one on the scene, rallying from last to win the $50,000 Maryland Million Starter Handicap at Laurel Park.
LAUREL, MD. 10-19-13---Ellendale Racing’s Roadhog caught even money favorite Ben’s Cat in the final jumps to repeat as winner of the $125,000 Maryland Million Turf.
LAUREL, MD. 10-19-13---Dennis J. Federico’s Maddy’s Dance closed resolutely and was up in the last jump to win the $100,000 Maryland Million Distaff.
Ann’s Smart Dancer finished second, only a neck behind the winner. Heavy favorite Ju Ju Eyeballs was third. The winning time for the seven furlong distance was 1:23.65.

Kept to task by Jose Garcia for trainer Dale Capuano, the daughter of Oratory beat Daydreamin Gracie by two lengths, as defending champion Pagan Priestess was along to take third.
