LAUREL, MD – Today, the Maryland Jockey Club, the Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association and the Maryland Horse Breeders Association announced an agreement regarding ongoing operations at Laurel Park and Pimlico Race Course. The parties have agreed to an extension of the current 10-year agreement that was set to expire on June 30, through December 31, 2023. With the extension in place, the Maryland Jockey Club will seek the approval of the Maryland Racing Commission for live racing dates for the remainder of the year.
