LAUREL, MD – Friday’s Stronach 5, a national Pick 5 featuring an industry-low 12-percent takeout, kicks off at 3:54 ET with a $50,000 guaranteed pool and races from Laurel Park, Gulfstream Park West and Golden Gate Fields.

• Leg One – Laurel Park Eighth Race (10 entered, 5 ½ furlongs) 3:54 ET, 12:54 PT
• Leg Two –Gulfstream Park West Eighth Race: (12 entered, 6 furlongs) 4:05 ET, 1:05 PT
• Leg Three –Laurel Park Ninth Race (15 entered, 6 furlongs) 4:24 ET, 1:24 PT
• Leg Four – Gulfstream Park West Ninth Race (10 entered, 5 furlongs turf) 4:38 ET, 1:38 PT
• Leg Five – Golden Gate Fields Fourth Race: (10 entered, 6 furlongs) 5:15
The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool is carried over to the following Friday.
For the Stronach 5, if a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
The Maryland Jockey Club serves as host of the Stronach 5 every Friday.
