LAUREL, MD – In addition to live racing, fans at Laurel Park will be able to watch and wager on all 13 Breeders’ Cup races from Del Mar Friday and Saturday, Nov. 3 and 4.
Post time at Laurel Park each day is 12:30 p.m. The first Breeders’ Cup race is scheduled for 5:25 p.m. EST on Nov. 3 and 3 p.m. EST on Nov. 4, with the $6 million Classic (G1) set for 8:35 p.m.
Laurel’s gates will open at 11 a.m. both days. General parking, admission and seating are free.
On Friday, Nov. 3, there will be a buffet from noon to 5 p.m. in TIPS and Tycoons restaurants at a cost of $40. Afternoon snacks will also be available a la carte.
On Saturday, Nov. 4, there will be buffets in Tycoons ($40) and both TIPS restaurant and Terrace Dining ($60 each), all from noon to 5 p.m.
Raymond Mamone’s Imperial Hint, who opened the year with back-to-back stakes victories at Laurel Park led by his first career graded triumph in the General George (G3), will attempt to cap his undefeated season in the $1.5 million Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) Saturday, Nov. 4. One of his rivals is Whitmore, this year’s winner of the Maryland Sprint (G3) at historic Pimlico Race Course. Post time is 5:37 p.m. EST.
