 LAUREL, MD - Laurel Park's first summer meet in a decade was a positive for Maryland racing, with live in-state handle up well over $1 million for July and August and import handle up more than $500,000 per day over comparable dates in 2014.

Earns Trip to Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge
 
LAUREL, MD - Oneil Doran was the big winner in The Maryland Jockey Club's Handicapping Tournament at Laurel Saturday, earning entry into the 2015 Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge Oct. 30-31.
 
Doran, from Owings Mills, won after turning his $200 bankroll into $2,400. Doran also earned prize money of $800.
