Each Winner Receives $565.70
LAUREL, MD - There were 241 bettors each receiving $565.70 for hitting Friday’s Stronach 5.
The Stronach 5 featured racing from Gulfstream Park, Santa Anita Park and Laurel Park as well as two turf races.
The national pick 5 sequence, with an industry-low 12-percent takeout, kicked off with Mitchell Road ($5.80) winning the eighth race at Gulfstream and concluded with favored Sellwood ($3.20) winning the fourth race at Santa Anita Park. The largest payoff came in the fourth leg when Tailadios paid $18.20 to win Gulfstream’s ninth race.

● Leg Five – Santa Anita Park 4th Race – Sellwood $3.20
The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.
For the Stronach 5, if a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
The Maryland Jockey Club serves as host of the Stronach 5.
