LAUREL, MD - Laurel Park's Saturday program will be a bettors delight with five of its nine races scheduled on the turf, a total of 118 entries, and three carryovers.
First race post time is 12:30 p.m.
Laurel's 20-cent Rainbow 6 will have a carryover of $11,678.04. The carryover on the 50-cent late Pick 5 will be $2,365.43 and the carryover of the $1 Super Hi 5 $980.
Laurel's Saturday program kicks off with a 1 1/16 mile turf event that drew a field of 16. The featured eighth race is a $42,000 allowance event.
On Friday's program, Irish War Cry, a 2-year-old son of Curlin trained by Graham Motion, won in his racing debut by 4 1/2 lengths while covering six furlongs in 1:10.62.
