LAUREL, MD – Cash is King and LC Racing’s stakes-winning 3-year-old Monday Morning Qb, a game second behind undefeated Happy Saver in the Federico Tesio Sept. 7 at Laurel Park off a seven-month layoff, is under consideration for the 145th Preakness Stakes (G1) Oct. 3 at Pimlico Race Course.

Stronach 5 Cancelled for Friday, Sept. 11

LAUREL, MD – The Stronach 5 for this afternoon has been cancelled.
 
The final leg of today’s Stronach 5 was to be the third race at Golden Gate Fields, but due to prevailing conditions in the Bay Area the track has cancelled today’s live program.
 
The popular Stronach 5 will return Friday, Sept. 18 with an industry-low 12-percent takeout and $100,000 guaranteed pool.

Friday's Stronach 5 Features Full Fields, Three Tracks, $100,000 Guaranteed Pool

LAUREL, MD – The Stronach 5, with an industry-low 12-percent takeout and $100,000 guaranteed pool, will feature races Friday from Laurel Park, Gulfstream Park and Golden Gate Fields.
 
The first race in the sequence will be Laurel’s seventh race, a six furlong event for a dozen 2-year-old fillies. Post time is 3:58 p.m.
