LAUREL, MD – Laurel Park will have a Late Pick 5 carryover of $14,562.96 when racing resumes Sunday with a 12:30 p.m. first race post.
Sunday’s program will also have a Super Hi 5 carryover in the first race of $2,477.58 and a Rainbow 6 carryover of $3,383.05.
The Late Pick 5, triggered by Elevated Vision’s $78.40 upset in the Politely Stakes, kicks off with the fifth race, a claiming event going six furlongs with a field of 12 entered. The Late Pick 5 sequence will also include a $50,000 optional claimer, a $42,000 allowance event and an eight-horse maiden special weight event for 3-year-olds and up.
Laurel Park will wrap up its fall meet on Monday, Dec. 31 with a nine-race card and mandatory payouts in the Rainbow 6, Late Pick 5 and Super Hi-5. The 2019 winter meet opens Tuesday, Jan. 1.
