Laurel to Offer $100,000 Guaranteed Pool for Saturday’s Jackpot Pick 5
LAUREL, MD., 03/20/15 – Laurel Park will offer its bettors a $100,000 guaranteed pool for Saturday’s Jackpot Pick 5.
The Jackpot Pick 5 sequence will include three of Laurel’s four stakes races: the $100,000 Caesar’s Wish for 3-year-old fillies featuring Grade I winner By the Moon; the $100,000 Harrison Johnson Memorial for 3-year-olds and up going 1 1/16 miles; and the $100,000 Conniver Stakes for fillies and mares at seven furlongs.
Laurel’s Saturday program also includes the $100,000 Private Terms with Miracle Wood runner-up Combat Diver and Bridget’s Big Luvy, a troubled fifth last out in the Hutcheson (G3) Stakes.
Laurel’s total handle Friday was up 100 percent from the corresponding afternoon in 2014.
