Sunday’s $254,427 Rainbow 6 Carryover Approaches Record Number

LAUREL, MD – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 27th consecutive live program Saturday at Laurel Park, building the jackpot carryover to $254,426.59 for Sunday’s nine-race card.
 
According to Maryland Jockey Club officials, the record for the state’s largest carryover is $275,322, reached heading into closing day of Pimlico Race Course’s spring meet on June 6, 2015. A mandatory payout that day produced multiple returns of $12,518.28. 
 

Laurel’s Saturday Rainbow 6 Carryover $233,000

LAUREL, MD – There will be a 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover of $233,622.91 when racing resumes Saturday at Laurel Park.
 
Saturday’s Rainbow 6 sequence spans Races 4-9. First race post is 1:10 p.m. 
 
Laurel will also simulcast Saturday’s major Triple Crown preps – the $1 million Santa Anita Derby, $1 million Blue Grass and $750,000 Wood Memorial.
