LAUREL, MD. 02-14-14---Due to the significant snow that hit the Baltimore and Washington D.C. markets yesterday, live racing at Laurel Park has been cancelled for Friday, February 14.This is the fourth cancellation of the year at the central Maryland track.

Live racing is scheduled to resume Saturday, February 15 with a 12:35 p.m. EST post time. The 10-race card features the $300,000 Barbara Fritchie Handicap (G2) and the $100,000 John B. Campbell Stakes.

The Laurel Park racing office will take entries today for Monday’s President’s Day card, which is headlined by the $250,000 General George Handicap (G3).

Laurel and its sister track, Pimlico Race Course, will be open for simulcasting.
