Special Live Holiday Racing Program Begins at 1:25 p.m.
LAUREL, MD – Along with a special live holiday racing program on Monday, July 4, Laurel Park will play host to an All-American BBQ to wrap up opening weekend of the 24-day summer meet.
The BBQ will run from noon to 4 p.m. and features broccoli, cranberry and cheddar salad, watermelon salad, crab and anchovy salad and mixed green salad; and appetizers of chicken wings, deviled eggs, spicy pickled seafood martinis and mascarpone, crab and Old Bay dip with pita chips.
Entrees available are black angus burgers, southern style fried chicken and grilled Kentucky barbecue chicken, as well as brined, slow-roasted pig with assorted sides and sauces.
Tickets are $22 per person with a la carte available.
First race post time on July 4 is 1:25 p.m. Due to the special holiday schedule, there will be no live racing on Friday, July 8.
