Laurel Stall Applications for Fall Meet Due Sept. 5

Meet Features $3.25 Million Stakes Schedule, 5 Super Saturdays
 
LAUREL, MD - Stall applications for Laurel Park's lucrative fall/winter meet, featuring 32 stakes (four graded) and five Super Saturdays with four or more stakes races, are due by Monday, Sept. 5.
 
Highlights of Laurel's fall schedules include:
 
• Commonwealth Day on Saturday, Sept. 24 featuring the $200,000 Commonwealth Derby (G2), $200,000 Commonwealth Turf Cup (G2) and $150,000 Commonwealth Oaks (G3) 
• Fall Festival Day Saturday, Nov. 19 with the $250,000 Frank De Francis Dash (G3) and six other stakes
• Laurel Turf Festival Saturday, Sept. 10 with five stakes including three listed stakes - the $150,000 Lady Baltimore, $100,000 Laurel Dash and $100,000 Laurel Turf Cup.
 
The fall schedule also includes Jim McKay Maryland Million Day Saturday, Oct. 22.
