Day-long Activities to Explore Jobs in Thoroughbred Industry
Meet Racing Experts, Complimentary Lunch, Watch Morning Workouts
LAUREL, MD - The Maryland Jockey Club will play host to Students on Track Saturday, March 4, an innovative and unique day designed for college students to explore career possibilities in the equine industry.
Students on Track will take place at Laurel Park between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Participants will start the day watching morning workouts and meeting trainers, exercise riders, veterinarians and owners at Laurel Park. The students will enjoy a complimentary lunch while watching live races and take part in a panel discussion with Stacie Clark-Rogers, operations consultant for Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, Eclipse Award-winning writer and editor Joe Clancy, and America's Best Racing correspondent and Equestricon co-founder Dan Tordjman.
