LAUREL, MD., 07/02/15– Trainer Rodney Jenkins is eager for the summer racing season to get started Friday afternoon at Laurel Park. Not only is Jenkins looking forward to not shipping, but he will saddle his 3-year-old colt Top of Mind in Friday’s seventh race if the 1 1/16mile event comes off the turf.

LAUREL, MD., 06/30/15– Laurel Park, preparing to race in July for the first time since 2010, drew entries Tuesday for its first twilight program on Friday, July 3. Eight races were drawn, four scheduled on Laurel's 142-foot wide turf course, with 98 horses entered.

LAUREL, MD., 06/16/15 - The Maryland Jockey Club announced today it will conduct a 24-day summer meet at Laurel Park that will feature Friday twilight racing, weekend activities for the entire family, and a new Super High 5 wager with low takeout.

LAUREL, MD., 03/29/15 - Laurel Park closed its 2015 winter meet Sunday with a mandatory payout of its Jackpot Pick 5. Five of five winners returned $1,037.02.

Laurel Park Has Mandatory Payout of $102,000 Jackpot Pick 5 Carryover Sunday

 LAUREL, MD., 03/28/15 - Laurel Park's final day of racing will feature a mandatory payout of its $102,749.90 Jackpot Pick  5 carryover.

No one picked five winners Saturday. Four of five returned $270.52.

Sunday's Jackpot Pick 5 sequence will include a maiden special weight, an optional claimer and three claiming races.

First race post Sunday is 12:30 p.m.

LAUREL, MD– The remarkable career of Page McKenney continued Saturday afternoon at Laurel Park.

The 5-year-old gelding, making his second start of the year and first since Feb. 14 when winning the John B. Campbell, drew away from four others down the stretch to splish-splash his way to a four length victory in the $100,000 Harrison E. Johnson Memorial.
