LAUREL, MD – Post positions will be drawn and odds will be assigned Wednesday for the $150,000 Maryland Million Classic, to be held Saturday at Laurel Park.
The draw will take place at Laurel’s Tips Restaurant at approximately 4:30 p.m. at part of the Maryland Million Draw Reception. The event will be streamed on https://www.facebook.com/LaurelPark/ with Dave Rodman, Stan Salter, Acacia Courtney and Tim Tullock.
The Classic is one of 11 stakes that help comprise the 33rd annual Jim McKay Maryland Million
Three Diamonds Farm’s Bonus Point, who won last year’s Classic, is one of six defending champions returning and one of 224 horses pre-entered for Maryland Million.
First race post time Saturday is noon. This year’s festivities will include the inaugural Clubhouse Festival featuring Grammy nominated Deadmau5 and Steve Aoki.
