LAUREL, MD – Friday’s Stronach 5 rewarded 19 bettors each with $9,392.10.

The national wager with an industry-low 12-percent takeout kicked off with a $24.60 winner in I love You in Laurel Park’s ninth race. That was followed by a $10.20 winner in Gulfstream Park’s ninth race with Elissas Secret. The fourth leg of the sequence at Golden Gate Fields had a $14 winner in Arch Anthem and Snazzy Dresser ($10.20) took the final leg at Santa Anita Park.

Friday’s Stronach 5 sequence

●    Leg One – Laurel Park Race 9th Race – I Love You $24.60
●    Leg Two –Gulfstream Park  9th Race – Elissas Secret $10.20
●    Leg Three –Gulfstream Park 10th Race – Frankie Apps $6.40
●    Leg Four – Golden Gate Fields 5th Race – Arch Anthem $14
●    Leg Five – Santa Anita Park 5th Race – Snazzy Dresser $10.20

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.

For the Stronach 5, if a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
