Nominations Close Thursday, Nov. 30 for First December Stakes

Four Stakes for Juveniles, Older Horses Worth $375,000 Saturday, Dec. 9
            
LAUREL, MD – Nominations close Thursday, Nov. 30 for the first of 10 stakes to be held at Laurel Park in December.
 
Four stakes worth $375,000 in purses are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9 as Laurel winds down the current fall meet which runs through Sunday, Dec. 31.
 
Maryland-bred/sired horses take center stage in the $100,000 Maryland Juvenile Futurity for 2-year-olds and the $100,000 Maryland Juvenile Filly Championship for 2-year-old fillies, both at seven furlongs, as well as the $75,000 Howard M. Bender Memorial for 3-year-olds and up at six furlongs.
 
Also on the program is the $100,000 Willa On the Move, an open event for fillies and mares 3 and up going six furlongs.
