LAUREL, MD – The Maryland Jockey Club and Laurel Park await the 31st running of the Jim McKay Maryland Million Saturday, showcasing more than $20 million in improvements to its clubhouse and grandstand, barn area, and world-class turf course.
What was an aging facility two years ago is now an exciting sports and events venue with new technology, dining, bars, lounges and a world-class turf course that has boosted field size and handle.
Maryland Jockey Club’s television host and analyst Gabby Gaudet gave Acacia Courtney a tour of all the upgrades as Laurel Park prepares for one of its biggest days – the Jim McKay Maryland Million.
