Lindisfarne Captures Marshua Stakes

LAUREL, MD. 01-29-15---KMN Racing LLC’s Lindisfarne broke from the gate like a shot, backed off two challengers who raced to her inside and then powered by them down the lane to win the $100,000 Marshua Stakes for 3-year-old fillies, the first of two stakes races this afternoon at Laurel Park.

Laurel Park Reschedules Stakes For Thursday

LAUREL, MD. 01-28-15---Two $100,000 stakes which could have been lost from this year’s schedule when racing was cancelled last Saturday will be brought back on Thursday’s program at Laurel Park.

The ten race card will be highlighted by the Marshua and Frank Whiteley, Jr. Stakes, which will go as races eight and nine on the program. Both are for 3-year olds.

LAUREL, MD. 01-23-15---For the third time this week, track conditions have forced Laurel Park officials to cancel live racing. Maryland Jockey Club vice president and general manager Sal Sinatra announced tonight that the central Maryland track will not conduct its nine-race card on Saturday afternoon.
