LAUREL, MD – Five players from across North America were each rewarded with $29,027.90 for hitting Friday’s Stronach 5, the national Pick 5 with an industry-low 12-percent takeout.
 
Friday’s Stronach 5 started at Laurel with a $12.40 winner in Hail the Queen and ended at Golden Gate Fields with a 6-5 favorite in Shadrack. The highest price in the sequence occurred in the second leg with Park Ridge Benny returning $20.40 at Gulfstream Park.
