Laurel’s $66,161 Rainbow 6 Carryover Saturday Features 5 on Turf

LAUREL, MD – Laurel Park’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 will feature five races on its world-class turf course Saturday and a carryover of $66,161.96.

First race post for Saturday’s nine-race program is 1:10 p.m. The Rainbow 6 sequence will begin with the fourth race, a 5 ½ furlong turf event that has attracted a field of 11.

Multiple winning tickets Friday on the Rainbow 6 returned $1,191.92.

Created to celebrate the backstretch community and its contribution to the continued success of Maryland racing, Community Day will be held from noon to 4 p.m. outside the track kitchen.

LAUREL, MD – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved Saturday at Laurel Park, boosting the carryover jackpot to $46,721.51 for Sunday’s nine-race program.

No horses were live to take down the jackpot heading into Saturday’s ninth-race finale, won by Lucky Junior ($7.60). A total of $19,031 was bet into the popular multi-race wager, on top of a $40,644.57 carryover from Friday’s card.
