LAUREL, MD - Not only will Laurel Park feature five stakes races when racing returns Saturday, Dec. 26, but there will also be a 10-cent Rainbow 6 carryover of $91,337.21.
 
There was no single, unique winning ticket on the Rainbow 6 Sunday, meaning there will be a carryover come Saturday's program. Multiple-winning tickets Sunday on the Rainbow 6 with the winning combination 4-8-4-6-1-1 returned $6,783.76.

LAUREL, MD - Laurel Park's 10-cent Rainbow 6 will have a carryover of $66,930.93 when racing resumes Saturday with a nine-race program at 12:25 p.m.

There will also be a Pick 5 carryover Saturday of $3.805.05.

There were multiple winning tickets on Friday's Rainbow 6. Tickets with the winning numbers 4/5-9-6-10-7-5 returned $4,345.47.

LAUREL, MD - After a brief Christmas break, live racing action will resume at Laurel Park on Saturday, December 26 with five stakes races, including a pair of events for juveniles. The $50,000 Maryland Juvenile Futurity will feature the stakes debut of Showalter, who slugged it out with Hennessy Fire en route to victory in his career opener at Laurel Park on November 29.

LAUREL, MD – Laurel Park will kick off its weekend program Friday with a 10-cent Rainbow 6 carryover of $58,239.98.

Saturday's Rainbow 6 Carryover $43,800 at Laurel Park

LAUREL, MD - Laurel Park's 10-cent Rainbow 6 will have a carryover of $43,830.12 when racing resumes Saturday with a 12:25 p.m. first-race post.
 
There were multiple winning tickets on Friday's Rainbow 6, which included the $68.80 winner Hell of Afire in the seventh race. Tickets with the winning combination of 1-6-9-1-8-6 returned $2,639.60.

LAUREL, MD - Mrs. Frank P. Wright's Grade 2 winner Lady Sabelia added the $100,000 Willa On the Move to her resume Saturday with a 1 3/4-length score over Disco Chick while covering six furlongs in 1:10.17.
 

Jockey Lane Luzzi Wins First Race

LAUREL, MD - Apprentice jockey Lane Luzzi, son of veteran New York rider Mike Luzzi, won his first professional race Friday afternoon when he rode Midwest Thoroughbred's Flo's Strawberry to victory in Laurel Park's third race.
 
Trained by Jamie Ness, Flo's Strawberry took the lead leaving the gate in the six furlong claiming event, opened up eight lengths on the field, and won by a nose over Say a Hail Mary. Luzzi and Flo's Strawberry, a 6-year-old mare, covered the distance in 1:12.54.
